Jose R. Rosa-Olivares, MD

Dr. Rosa-Olivares completed his General Pediatrics Residency Program at Miami Children's Hospital in Miami and received the distinctions of Outstanding Resident in the Transport of Critically Ill Children and Outstanding Resident in Neonatal Intensive Care. He served as Director of Medical Services for the Department of Juvenile Justice Miami-Dade and as a physician at the Rapid Care Center at Miami Children's Hospital. Hospital. Dr. Rosa-Olivares has written extensively on the development of community resources and educational material for teen mothers sponsored by the March of Dimes and Tuberculosis in Preventive Medicine News. He has been a contributor for various media outlets both in print and television discussing such topics as Miami Children's Hospital Health-On-Wheels Program, and Nutrition for Toddlers.
