Dr Gomez Veliz is Board certified in internal medicine and serves as an Associate medical director as well as a hospitalist for Jackson Memorial Hospital which is a non-profit ,tertiary care hospital and the primary teaching hospital of the University of Miami Leonard M Miller School of Medicine and its one of the largest Hospital in the United States. He is experienced at treating an extensive variety of disorders and illnesses that affect adults, managing both common and rare diseases.

He received his medical degree from Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas, in Camaguey, Cuba and completed his residency at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program which is an academic affiliate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  He’s been in practice for more than 20 years.
